Troop 5 was chartered by the Boy Scouts of America in September 1910, and has been serving boys in the Denver area for nearly 100 years.

Venturing Crew 5 is here!
Venturing Crew 5 was chartered in February, 2009. They will have their first organizational meeting in the coming weeks. Venturing is a youth development program of the Boy Scouts of America for young men and women who are 14 (and have completed the eighth grade) through 20 years of age.

Troop 5 is growing!
Be a part of the Oldest Troop West of the Mississippi River. Troop 5 is an active and vibrant boy-led troop, with a planned campout or other activity each month of the year. With 7 Eagle Scouts in the last 18 months, Troop 5 also focusses on advancement. Troop 5 always welcomes visitors, and is currently looking for new boys and adult leaders.
The Mission:
The Mission of the Boy Scouts of America is to prepare young people to make ethical choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Law.
The Vision:
The Boy Scouts of America is the nations foremost youth program of character development and values based leadership training. In the future scouting will continue to: offer young people responsible fun and adventure; Instill in young people life time values and develop in them ethical character as expressed in the Scout Oath and Law; Train young people in citizenship, service and leadership; Serve America's communities and families with its quality values based program.
